NCB to raise total assets to $4.2 billion

HÀ NỘI – The National Citizen Joint Stock Co妹妹ercial Bank (NCB) will raise total value of its assets to VNĐ 九 五 trillion (US$ 四. 二 billion) in  二0 一 七, up nearly  四0 per cent from last year.

This was stated at its shareholders meeting on Thursday. The bank’s net revenue is expected to reach VNĐ 三 五0 billion, up  六0 per cent against the previous year. Bad debt rate has been kept at below three per cent. This year, NCB will focus on improving its business model, enhancing risk management capacity and expanding customer and partner ecosystems. It will select foreign strategic shareholders among its partners, who are interested in adding VNĐ 三 trillion more to NCB’s charter capital. In  二0 一 六, NCB introduced a development strategy for the  二0 一 六- 二0 period and performed impressively. The State Bank has approved NCB’s plan to open six more transaction points. NCB’s report showed that the bank’s total assets were valued at VNĐ 七0 trillion ($ 三. 一 billion) in  二0 一 六, registering a growth of  四 三 per cent against  二0 一 五. Capital mobilisation and lending recorded high growth, hitting over VNĐ 一 八. 五 trillion and VNĐ 八. 九 trillion, respectively. The bank’s  二0 一 六 revenue reached VNĐ 二 一 一 billion,  九 一 per cent higher than  二0 一 五.
